E选项的错误是不是因为 when前面没有表示具体时间的名词呢？

E中，at the beginning优于in the beginning, in the beginning一般放在句首，意为initially. 在原句中begin这个动作有明确的主语cycle, 而在E中完全体会不出begin的动词意向，更没有原句里a cycle has started这个意思。E很奇怪的说消费者在一个cycle的某个环节或阶段，从原句中得不到此信息。
