想问下D选项，OG 上的解释是The preposition for is redundant in comparing the two objects of run.

这里的it costs about the same to run nuclear plants as other types of power plants,是可以比较的呀？？？

D选项：It costs about the same to run nuclear plants as for other types of power plants

it是to run的形式主语，句子比较的是run nuclear plants costs $ 和other types of power plants cost $.

而B选项里的as for……及E选项里as后缺少for，是因为：
句子比较的是the cost of running nuclear plants和the cost of running other types of power plants=the cost for other types of power plants。

这只是我自己的理解哈，如果不对，还请指正。

这题里面特别注意几个事情，

第一，A中as前后比较不对等。应该是 as to run other types; 而后乱用强调句；可以观察一下A中到底出现了多少个it，其强调句中又套着定语从句，them的指代问题，都是混乱而且支离破碎的。

第二，B中同样是while，但是这里就满足了while从句与主句要尽量严格地平行的要求，cost对cost；其中 the cost of running is about the same as (the cost) for other types of 是省略的比较——建议参考庖丁解牛的介词短语比较的相关问题。

另外其他选项中的错误类似与A中，并且加上另外一些杂碎的错误

本题瞬秒的话，首先看到while想到或许有平行，然后继续读题发现语义中出现了两种cost恰恰是平行的材料。

而后立即在B中发现了正确选项。

迅速扫过CDE，没有能够满足上述平行要求的，直接排除。

那就是说，D选项去掉FOR之后变成
It costs about the same to run nuclear plants as other types of power plants
这个句子比较的对象是 run nuclear plants costs 和 other types of power plants，比较对象不对等？是这样吧..

我觉得把D是在比较run后面的宾语，就是nuclear plants和other types. 所以用for的话结构上就不平行了
但是我这里也有一个疑问，就是如果把D的for去掉就和A中while后面一样了，那么A当中的it costs about the same to run nuclear plants as other types of power plants,这样的表述方式是不是正确，会不会产生歧义呢？感觉比较对象是to run...和other types...但是发现OG上的解释并没有提及A有comparison的错误，所以很不确定。
是不是原意应该是it costs about the same to run nuclear plants as （to run）other types of power plans.但是把to run省略掉不会产生歧义么？

我感觉A的比较问题也不大，CD主要是因为cost是动词，所以那个for步子到和谁平行所以错。

你的意思是A里面那个the same to run ....as other types里的as和other types 之间的to run是可以省的，不会造成歧义的，是吗？
