我的感受是这样的，从逻辑主语角度来看，排除AB，C好像看不出谓语，E看不到完整选项，所以选D，哈哈- -

逻辑主语是怎么拍出AB的啊？

因为Developed by Pennsylvania's PalatineGermans about 1750，只能是一个具体的东西作主语才能被发展，A，B都是they，所以不行
