the advertisers maybe usscrupulously manipulate readers' taster due to financial consideratios. However, the arthor wanted to say those adverors are not so morally degraded. Here he/she provides an evidence.one advertiser withdrew the advertisment from a publication when the publication was changed from a family-oritented to a sex-oriented reading. So advertisers are not morally so bad, But to justify this conclusion we have to exclude the possibiltiy that the behavior of the advertiser was not due to financial consideration. what if the withdrawl was be because the publication can never attract as enough readers as the adversor hoped for and the advertisor can never make money from it? "C" exactly excludes such a possibility and support the reasoning.
