这是og12 sc的第七题，我查了一下午的帖子，但有1个问题我没有找到可心的答案，所以麻烦大家帮帮我看看~

1，我知道“that定从中，that作表语，可省略that”这句话，但是我不明白，题中省略的that是做前半句的宾语还是后半句的宾语？（ps：我查帖子貌似有把that往后还原的。。。。），在我印象中，我总觉得that定从不就是解释说明前面的“ the mass market sales”的吗？？怎么还有成分的问题，好乱~~~

我好像突然明白了~~我沾一个帖子的说法，我觉得蛮对的，分享一下~~

“划线句子就是修饰market sales的，它是个定语从句，that只有在定语从句中作宾语时才可以省略，这个句子里it would in the past have conceded that to rivals, 所以这个that是可以省略的”

that在这里是定从，修饰的是前面的mass market sales ；然后，由于that在定语从句中，即划线句子部分中，做宾语的成分：it would in the past have conceded “that” to rivals （那家公司在过去转让了大部分的市场销量给对手）~
