这题C答案为什么不对呢？GWD给的答案是E。我记得在OG上好像选的是C？

个人理解：

题目里明确说了：“Inflation in the intervening period has been negligible” 这段时间内的通货膨胀被忽略，

C.They buy goods whose prices tend to rise especially fast in times of inflation
C还在说通货膨胀的事，自然就不对了。

C说的是这些老人在通胀时期买那些价格涨得尤其快的商品。不要继续做自己的推理。老人就算买那些价格高的，但是因为补贴涨了20%，你买的东西也可能价格高归高，但是也可能没超过20%，那老人经济条件还是可以改善的。 E：说的是子女也会补贴给老人，但是呢仅仅是能够维持他们comfortable的生活水平，啥意思呢：举例：以前老人每个月有1200生活费，1000补贴，200孩子给；现在政府补贴多了20%，那么生活费到了1200了，对吧，但是子女一看政府给钱多了啊，那我就不给了吧。呵呵

说实话我这也是事后想明白的，如果考试的时候刀光剑影的，还真是说不好能不能选出E呢。
