    主要是最优原则，其它4个错误更明显，且从逻辑意思和对称性上看，its优先指代the restaurant company 也是合理的。

    而且这里its没有指代不清的问题，因为前面只有一个单数名词company可以被指代。好像以前有NN说过用单复数的区别来进行合理的指代和省略是ETS的惯用招数。这道题我也做错了，但是回头想想确实应该选A

    having recently .......与后面的with its sales 还是平行的；主要是逻辑主语不对应，成了dangling sentence；另外，having …这个用法很不好，ＯＧ里面讲到过；company’s不知道对不对，感觉……

    从逻辑意思上面说, 完成时含有对现在的影响, 把完成时换成过去时, 在逻辑意思上面似乎有欠商榷.

    对于楼上，查Longman字典，有：


    have somebody do something
    [especially American English]


    eg: I'll have Hudson show you to your room.


    我想这里的somebody改成something也不成问题。


    而真正的问题在于，不管从“无依附结构”，还是“从句的省略形式”来看，D和E都存在逻辑主语不一致的问题；


    D和E的主句的主语是the restaurant company’s sales，不是company，而sales不能成为add动作的发出者

    C：违反主动优先的原则；its不能指代所有格形式的company's中的company

    I still have a question..I understand that "its" refers "the restaurant company" 指代ok,


    but why used "have increase"??? Why not just "increased" in B?

    increase之前还有一个谓语，它的时态一致也需要考虑

    可以的，没有错，在从句中比如 because s +v +o and s＋v＋o，是可以的，不需要逗号，og中有

    D, E   "having recently added..." is not the action  of the subject" the restaurant company's sales"



    In sum, the subject must parallel to the verb.

    为什么这里要用过去完成时？后面既然有说its sales have declined,那前面的have increased不是矛盾了吗，完成时表过去的动作持续到现在，怎么会上升和下降同时持续呢？而如果前面是过去时的话，上升就是一个纯过去的动作，下降则是近一年并持续到现在的动作 ，这样就顺上了。而时态保持一致的说法并不理解

    although的从句省略形式的正确表达是什么样子的呢？

    不是一个东西：前一个是“the company”的整体sales，后一个sales有后置限定词修饰“sales at ...open for more than one year”，意思是：这个公司整体销售是上升的，但其中新开的饭店业绩都是下降的；

    我跟前面的roric和d_sheep一样，当时都以为its sales不能同时持续增加和减少而特意选的B。

    状语从句的省略形式：表示转折、时间、条件的连接词 + 形容词短语/分词短语

    DE的表述其实符合了省略的形式，这点没有错，错误在逻辑主语的问题

    C选项have recently been opened总觉得被动不爽。不过这个可能是比较弱的排除选项的点。

    不同意标记部分。its指代的是company‘s 不是company。是可以用its来指代A's的
    大全中就有例子：a link between the brain's regions of...and its regions of...
