The human nervous system and a telephone system superficially resemble each other, not only because the former carries information in the form of electrical impulses and because all of its neural pathways converge in the brain and spinal cord, which together form a kind of central exchange.

(A) The human nervous system and a telephone system superficially resemble each other, not only because the former carries

(B) The human nervous system and a telephone system bear a superficial resemblance because theyboth carry

(C) The human nervous system bears a superficial resemblance to a telephone system both because the former carries

(D) Superficially, a telephone system resembles the human nervous system both becausethey carry

(E) There is a superficial resemblance between a telephone system and the human nervous system, not only because they both carry

The human nervous system and a telephone system  不能作为they 的指代对象么

......and because all of its neural pathways converge in the brain and spinal cord, which together form a kind of central exchange.

UP!

The hu。。。。 and a tele。。。。。

拿which为例,
A+B,which   V.这种pattern,
如果A和B都是单数,which后面动词复数,没有歧义,which修饰A and B。
如果B是复数(不管A是单数还是复数)则必须要用which together,没有歧义,这时which修饰A and Bs。

The human nervous system and a telephone system

(B) The human nervous system and a telephone system bear a superficial resemblance because they both carry information in the form of electrical impulses and because all of its neural pathways converge in the brain and spinal cord, which together form a kind of central exchange.

A and B bla bla because they bla bla and because its pathways bla bla.

Published in Harlem, the owner and editor of the Messenger were two young journalists, Chandler Owen and A. Philip Randolph, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader.

(A) Published in Harlem, the owner and editor of the Messenger were two young journalists, Chandler Owen and A. Philip Randolph, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader.

(B) Published in Harlem, two young journalists, Chandler Owen and A. Philip Randolph, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader, were the owner and editor of the Messenger.

(C) Published in Harlem, the Messenger was owned and edited by two young journalists, A. Philip Randolph, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader, and Chandler Owen.

(D) The Messenger was owned and edited by two young journalists, Chandler Owen and A. Philip Randolph, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader, and published in Harlem.

(E) The owner and editor being two young journalists, Chandler Owen and A. Philip Randolph, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader, the Messenger was published in Harlem.

(C) Published in Harlem, the Messenger was owned and edited by two young journalists, A. Philip Randolph, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader, and Chandler Owen.

同学你是否曾这么想:“GMAT真BT,整个那么长的插入语(, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader,),故意刁难我们考生让我们需要去掉它才能看清主干....”

(F) Published in Harlem, the Messenger was owned and edited by two young journalists, Chandler Owen and A. Philip Randolph, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader.

Chandler Owen and A. Philip Randolph, who would later make his reputation as a labor leader"存在逻辑问题。
It is also unclear which of the two journalists is described in the clause beginning who.

一个是absorption, integration, and decision-making
另一个是expression - how to express your ideas, to persuade others, and to make an impact?

要遵守法律法规和行业规范(for GMAT: grammar); 要科学严谨,有reasonable basis (for GMAT: logic)

WRONG: I have read three fictions and three non-fictions, which are recommended by my professor.

CORRECT version #1: I have read three non-fictions, which are recommended by my professor, and three fictions.

CORRECT version #2.1: I have read three fictions and three non-fictions, which together are recommended by my professor.
CORRECT version #2.2: I have read three fictions and three non-fictions, all the six recommended by my professor.
CORRECT version #2.3: I have read three fictions and three non-fictions, all these books recommended by my professor.
