請問一下大家… Very放句首…這是什麼句型呀！…有人說是主詞補語放句首的倒裝，可我怎麼看就是看不出來…

我的疑问时 attempt 当动词或名词 时不是要加 to 吗？
有attempt（v）+名词 这种用法吗？
那么请问A那里不好 ?
只有当名词时加 at+名词 可以
记得OG也有考过attempt 都有加 to 阿

1. 那里Run-on呢? 是要加 and 吗？ 但A 的therefore 不是也可
from Longman : We therefore recommend the abolition of this rule.
2.我想attemp at 是attempt当名词时才这样用吧 至于我之前attempt（v）+名词 这种用法应该可以 但如果有to的答案更好

therefore是副词，不可以连两个句子；sb was reluctant to do sth, he therefore的结构就是两个独立的句子，而没有任何连词，所以是错误的；
attempt to既可以做名词词组，又可以做动词词组；
attempt at只作名词词组；
for instance: if you attempt to do sth,you should ......
if you make an attempt to do sth, you should....
despite attempt at sth , sb still........

MM应该知道run-on的意思吧；很典型的就是两个独立的句子之间没有连词，只用一个逗号；A选项he therefore之前有一个独立的句子，但是therefore本身是副词，不能连接两个独立的句子。
补充：
A：run-on sentence
B：was attempting 时态不对；being very reluctant 不好，而且有squinting modifier之嫌
C：was attempting 时态不对；since …so violated the paradigm
D：改变句子结构，重心转移
E：正确；BTW，very reluctant不能当独立主格吗？
The structure of E can be inferred from choice (C). Therefore, we can modify (E) to the following sentence:
Since he was very reluctant to have any extra weight on his plane when he attempted his solo transatlantic flight, Charles Lindbergh refused to.....
因为...(since省略, he主詞相同省略, was/being省略)
I think that the structure of E can be called elliptical phrases or participial phrases, which use to modify the subject in the main clause.

u can use adj. as an independent component if it is closely related with the noun.
In this case, it is a bit special for being placed in the beginning of the stce.

我觉得不是独立主格结构，因为在reluctant前面没有名词或是代词等做逻辑主语。
这个结构更象是过去分词放句首的用法，因为过去分词在某种意义上演变为了形容词，而这里是形容词放句首，这两种用法很象；我认为大家应该注意reluctant to........和主句主语在逻辑上是否搭配，即charles lindvergh was very reluctant to。。。。

好棒！这么一说清楚多了，A项VS E项，主要是在逗号前后的两个部分，
A：前后都是完整主谓的句子，therefore副词，不能连接
E：只有后面的部分是完整句，不出现句子间需要连词连接的问题

能够作状语成分的一半只有副词，介词短语，v-ing,不定式，状语从句
不知道这里是不是reluctant to做定语成分，过长，前置
这里应该不是倒装吧
可以理解为就像是分词短语在局首，比如说：Confused by A, B refused to do...

加上being就是独立主格了吧？那为什么being在这里可以省略呢?being什么时候可省,什么时候不可省呢?这个句子省略了being，就让人感觉没有be动词，而直接把refused摆出来了。还是怪怪的。。。
