标题: which是不是一定不能指代一整句话和整件事？ [打印本页]

标题: which是不是一定不能指代一整句话和整件事？
今天听了新东方的网络课堂语法部分,赵丽说it 和 which都不能指代一整件事或者一整句话, it我知道不能，但是which我记得初高中的时候学过的语法是“…，which ” 中which可以指代前面的整句话耶！

如：
I’ll never forget the years_____I lived with the Tibetans, _____has a great effect on my life.


这道题明显第一个是when，第二个是which啊....



求教啊！我分不清这个用法啊！这是GMAT常考的吧？我要崩溃了。

这话怎么讲。which/it 指代名词。do so, the case 可以知道整个clause。 是不是这个

in any case, you should know that '...is/was the case' has the authority to stand for an impressive variety of things, including entire clauses. ('Do so' has the same impressive powers, especially vis-a-vis 'do it', which is limited to situations featuring an actual 'it'.)

强调了，it必要有明确的被指带的对象。至于which的问题，我没看到这样明确的强调过。先姑且记着吧。

我也觉得很迷惑，只能死记，连章振邦的那本语法书里（P1400）也说在非限制性关系分句中，which的先行项可以是上文整个的分句

which可以指代前面先行词也可以指代前面整句 牛津语法为reference。例如指代整个前面分句：He gets a good score，which makes me happy。which 指代整个事件而不是score。    但gmat里可以指代整句么。。忘记总结了，楼主做题看到注意一下就行。。。

这个不是指代前面整个句子么？？可以么？？一头雾水.....

这里的which是修饰先行词letter的。GMAT只规定在which引导的非限制性定语从句，不能指代前面整句话的，但还是可以对主句的先行词作补充说明

楼主说的这道题在哪里啊，WHICH能否指代前面一整句话，要看实际情况，遵循优中取优的原则，当前面一整句话的意思，和which后面相重复的时候，用WHICH就会指代不明，可能就不能用了

GMAT中which确不能指代前面整句话啊，GMAT中which也不能引导限制性定语从句，that不能引导非限制性定语从句，这些都是GMAT的规则，所有GMAT觉得不有效不完美的用法都要尽量避免，虽然有时在日常语法中是可以的。

这句话which 是指代的the years吧？不是前面一整句话啊。意思是“那些年对我的生活有很大的影响”而不是“我没忘记什么什么对我的生活有很大的影响”
