答案是C,请教“With it”里的it指代什么？不太明白

empire 不是应该用him指代么，为什么用it？

是啊，开始我也看到这个有点疑惑，不过后来也看了下Manhattan论坛，也没有人提到这个问题，所以后来我自己理解为it应该可以指代这种称谓吧，既然题目这么用了，暂时如此理解。请问一下有没有更明白这个问题的nn给解释解释啊

it指代empire 帝国，不是emperor 帝王

哦哦，对了，怎么一时就想岔了呢，太感谢ls了！！有时候真的发现很简单的问题自己就绕不出来了，还觉得自己挺对的，矮油。。。真是有点丢人啊
