regard與 consider翻成中文不都是"認為"的意思嗎?
為什麼這題捨regard 而就 consider呢?
看了半天實在不明白, 請大牛們指點
fixed idiom:
consider x y
regard x as y
inasmuchas =because
consider = regard as,所以 consider 后面不能再加as;
consider sth. sth 是固定搭配
consider sb. sth.也对吗?
我做的时候看到是 consider himself sth. 所以排除了这个选项的
consider...(as)...
regard...as...
treat...as...
都含”认为...是...”意思。
l
表示“一种比较客观的看法”,
如:I consider what he said (as) reasonable. 我认为他说的有道理。
l regard 指“把...认为”、“把...看作”,
表示“以外部形象得出认识或个人的主观认识”,
如: He was regarded as the foremost authority on chemistry. 他被认为是化学最高权威。
l treat 表示“在某种认识的基础上看待或对待”,
重在行动,
而不在认识,
如:They will not be treated as enemies. 他们不会被当做敌人对待。
consider大致有两种含义。
一、“考虑”
1. Consider+名词/代词/动名词。
You’d better consider my suggestion. 你最好考虑我的建议。
2. Consider+从句或“疑问词+不定式”。
Have you considered what he suggested?你们考虑他的建议了吗?
二.Consider作“认为”,常用于以下句型:
1.
Consider sb./sth+.(as)+形容词/名词。其中,as可以省略。
We consider him honest.我们认为他很诚实。
At first they considered me as a doctor.起初他们认为我是医生。
2. consider+sb./sth.+不定式。(构成复合宾语结构,)其中,通常不定时为to be (可以省略)或者完成式。
We consider this matter to be very important.我们认为这件事很重要。
We all consider him to have stolen the bike.我们都认为他偷了自行车。
3.consider+it+形容词/名词+不定式短语。注:consider作"认为"解时,后面偶尔也出现接不定式作宾语的情况,不过这时大都用形式宾语it,而将真正的宾语后移
We consider it hard to study English well.我们认为学好英语很难。
I consider it my duty to help you with your studies.我认为帮助你学习英语是我的职责。
4.consider+宾语从句。
We consider that the music is well worth listening to.我们这首音乐很值得一听。
Consider sb./sth+.(as)+形容词/名词。其中,as可以省略
我google了一下, as 不省的也很多.
省略as, 又是GMAT 规则么? 还是rather than 用错了.???? 求教!!!

This sentence requires that the participial phrase setting free... connect to the gerund construction by filing a deed...; it was the filing of a deed that made possible the setting free.... Choices A and B establish this connection, but only A, the best choice, completes the participial phrase appropriately. In choices B and D the misconstructed phrases set[ting] free more than the 500 slaves... mistakenly suggest that Carter set free slaves that were not his own. Choices C and D distort meaning by paralleling stunned and set free, as though these were two separate and independent actions. E begins a second independent clause, which—though grammatically acceptable—again distorts the meaning. In choices B, C, and E, considered as is unidiomatic.
it looks that consider sb./sth. + n. is right !
gmac does not like as, less is better, haha...
