同求助，顶起来。希望大家指教。本人只知道DE是不对的，D错误因为which不能指代一句话，E错误因为that紧跟在plants后面，会让人以为后面的定从是在修饰plants，而非前面的techniques. 但是AB具体有何错误就不明白了。 总体来讲，这题我觉得考的是“独立主格”，最开始的部分一定要跟全句的主语，researchers呼应。但问题就是AB的用法也没觉得有什么不妥啊？难道B的错误就在于在so that前面多加了一个“,”?作者: falconzy 时间: 2012-5-10 15:25

？？？同学你说的好奇怪啊，这句话的主句不就是“ researchers have been able to increase the amount of protein in potatoes, sweet potatoes, and tobacco.”吗？？researchers都成了句子的主语了，怎么可能不是句子的中心？即使是在所谓的正确选项“C”里，你说的“ techniques used to genetically”也不过是在句首的独立主格中的一部分，又怎么可能是句子的意思强调的重点呢？？作者: winy 时间: 2012-5-10 20:30
so that 从句在这里表结果，如果前面用了with的独立结构，就无法表达是什么导致so that后面的结果了。因为独立结构和主句平行，表明主语的状态，使得so that的结果变成无因之果，逻辑上没有依靠。并且前面加了逗号，they的指代有歧义，因为with独立于they之外的结构使得techniques，plants和they的关系变得平等起来，指代就不明了。
