14.   A recent survey of all auto accident victims in laceName>DolelaceName> laceType>CountylaceType> found that, of the severely injured drivers and front-seat passengers, 80 percent were not wearing seat belts at the time of their accidents. This indicates that, by wearing seat belts, drivers and front-seat passengers can greatly reduce their risk of being severely injured if they are in an auto accident.



The conclusion above is not properly drawn unless which of the following is true?





(A) Of all the drivers and front-seat passengers in the survey, more than 20 percent were wearing seat belts at the time of their accidents.



(B) Considerably more than 20 percent of drivers and front-seat passengers in laceName>DolelaceName> laceType>CountylaceType> always wear seat belts when traveling by car.



(C) More drivers and front-seat passengers in the survey than rear-seat passengers were very severely injured.



(D) More than half of the drivers and front-seat passengers in the survey were not wearing seat belts at the time of their accidents.


(E) Most of the auto accidents reported to police in laceName>DolelaceName> County do not involve any serious injury.

对A取非：参与调查的受伤害的人有80%以上都是没系安全带的。注意原文的调查对象：受到严重伤害的人。如果在这些受到严重伤害的被调查者中，本来就有80%没系安全带，那结果当然显示80%不系安全带的人受伤害了，那这个80%的比例对系没系安全带有什么揭示意义呢？

我想是不是　A选项明白指出了，在所有受伤的人超过20%是系安全带的，加上原文　受伤人中80%的是由于没系安全带，20%对比80%，所以只有系安全带了，伤害将减少，the conlusion成立


但　气闷的是，A选项中more than为什么要，还没想明白

只有重伤里带安全带的比例无法推出安全带与重伤的关系，要找对立面，即必须与轻伤中带安全带的比例做对比。

题目说80%的重伤没带安全带，也就是20%带了，A说全部调查者大于20%带安全带，可推出大于20%的轻伤带安全带（因为调查者只由重伤、轻伤组成）那么就是说有更多比例的轻伤比重伤带安全带，即推出安全带降低伤害程度。
