标题: Questions for John Frank about Joint programs application in M7 mba
目前所知有HBS 以及 Wharton Kellog有Joint Program 的申请  主要偏重 MA 以及 MPP  以及JD（MD就算了）请问这些在申请的时候有什么要特别注意的地方么。

Well what sort of program are you aiming at? What is your background? If you give me a bit more info, perhaps I can advise you a bit more precisely. But normally, actually most MBA programs should have joint programs.

hi frank. thank you so much for the kind message. below is some background info about myself.  i would like to apply to those art subjects like international affairs, or international relations staff.  say lauder school in Upenn.  any suggestion on that?  thank you so much.

shanghai jiaotong university 　bachelor　EE  major /Finance minor　　
gpa: 3.2 /4.0  
     rank 23 / 183
gmat: 770
toefl: 117
CFA III passed, meaning a pending CFA charterholder
WE:  6+ yr management consulting,    4+  in PI department  in big four,  role : manager
                                   2   in accenture as analyst
others：  intern in CCB  , volunteer in CFA china association
recommendation letters：  a few partners and EDs
target： M7 MBA + LBS      

the major problem is that i have a  worke experience gap for about 8 months in 2007, when i was preparing for my MFE application. however, i decided not to go for the program due to the financail crisis and my application outcome. would that negatively impact my application either to the sole MBA program or to the joint program?  thanks a lot.

Wellthe first schools that come to mind are Lauder, Booth and Harvard(HKS), Columbia (SIPA), Georgetown. There are at least another dozenother great programs, and you can look into them all. As for yourwork gap, I wouldn't worry about it. It's only 8 months and fiveyears ago. Maybe you can write a little note of explanation, but Idon't think that it is your “Major problem”
