标题: GWD一道求解
4. GWD30-Q4:

The three women, liberal activists who strongly support legislation in favor of civil rights and environmental protection, have consistently received labor’s unqualifying support.

A.have consistently received labor’s unqualifying support

B.are consistently receiving the unqualifying support of labor没有明显的时间标志不要改变时态

C.have consistently received the unqualified support of labor

D.receive consistent and unqualified support by labor

E.are receiving consistent and unqualified support by laboradvàadj错误

我的问题是:D为什么不对,不能用consistent修饰support么?
还有完成时不是要有标志才能用么,我做题的时候先排掉了AC。求牛牛分析下我的错误

原句consistently修饰的是动词receive,d选项的consistent修饰support。改变句子意思了

改变了原句的意思啊,原句是说“持续的得到支持”而不是“得到持续的支持”

LS is right. U should always get basic idea from the original text.(choice A)

A: consistently:adv use to describe the verb..
D:put consistent and unqualified in the form of parallelism, adj use to describe the noun

A put more emphasis on the verb..describe the frequency or how do they get support..they can get support consistently.
However, in D, put more emphasis on the noun, the property or the feature of the support ,slightly change the meaning which the author want to convey.

btw, if the logic meaning in the original text is perfect, do not change the structure of sentence by yourself~

可乐说的  正确
这道题看完题目后首先就把选项的B,D,E划入“次选项”
B在没有明显时间状语提示的情况下改变了时态
D和E则用“consistent&unqualified”一起去修饰support,题目原本要表达的意思是receive (unqualified support) consistently
所以D,E改变了原句意思(原句句意没有逻辑矛盾的情况下句意不应被改变)
答案定在A,C中
