标题: IC offer vs WBS offer @ MSc Finance求比较
CD上已经看见一面倒的IC了，但是LONDON的生活费实在是很离谱，想问问大家，IC的MSc Finance毕业之后的前景到底如何，到底值不值得这么多钱呢？？

I would vote for Warwick if it is for Finance. Warwick is quite famous in its Finance education. Also, I heard that Warwick is the second most targeted school by the employers (at least for last year it is). So when coming down to cost...I guess the return is higher for Warwick.

华威根帝国学费一样。生活费上也就差几万。。这一点对于出国来说真的可以忽略了。两个学校都是target school，能不能进看的是个人。但有一点很重要，华威根帝国的综合名气不在一个级别上。所以还是帝国把

Since I am not in Britain, that's my most confusing part. If you believe Warwick is more famous in recruiters from finance sector than IC, do you have any evidence to support that? Both schools' placements look wonderful.

你去法国三大高商看看，你去美国tier 1的名校看看,会是英国所谓名校那个吊样？

工作找不找的到留不留的下来不说，起码机会不少，面试不少，career service在那，美国还基本能学点东西，法国高商难说

只有英国的什么还什么5，读了知识学不到，工作机会也没有，就tmd让你回家网申去吧

英国商科除了lbs,其他基本都不值一读，lbs是美校

鄙视99%的英本

楼上这位大神，你应该拿美国纯msf项目来比吧。在这种情况下好像即使是mit中国人在美国就业也没那莫好吧。再往下就跟mit不在一个级别上了。如果你拿mfe等项目跟msf比，没可比性。一个需要说英语，一个基本不用说。MFE等项目的毕业生大部分做的是quant相关职位，对英语要求不高。但msf毕业，英语不好当然走人。

其一，要是个人没本事，全球的再好的学校读了都是拍屁股滚蛋，哪里都一样，美国的msf更加cash cow，中国人比例一样高得很。学校不过是提供了你career service的资源，怎么利用是你自己的事情。这点上美国学校和英国学校都一样。

其二，我根本也没打算留在英国找工作，所以也不想干。

I checked the forum sources you gave me in the previous comment. I am just wondering whether location plays an important role in the career potential in England? i.e. does London have location advantage over Coventry?

at all my interviews in london, ppl i have come across are mostly from the following three schools: Oxbridge and LSE. I have also met guys from Warwick. But IC's B-school? Never.

我是美本，所以申请的时候完全没有英语成绩，现在condition里的确貌似有TOEFL100或者雅思7的要求。

其实这个信息是不准确的。我猜这位大牛申的都是投行。但其实IC在投行就业的人很少，申投行的也不一定有那莫多。因为这个programm的侧重不是投行。百分之20的人去trading

打算考吧，我觉得应该没有什么问题。其二，我觉得一时之间考试的麻烦，和选择错了学校，还是前者比较好。

帝国理工想留英国确实非常非常难，我只是想说那个人说的信息是不准确的。真正拿到那些工作的是自己本身北京就很强，并且工科出身的老外。

麻烦问下楼主背景。IC的MSF是我相当想去的呀，我现在国内211金融学，后半年升大四，平均分90，雅思7，单项都不低于6.5，GMAT660，还有渣打总部2个月实习，浦发实习，大学生挑战杯上海市银奖。弱弱的问下这些够吗？我怕我那个很弱的GMAT让IC秒杀啊。。。
