    which 应该指a minority; 它是a minority in California, 这一名词结构中的核心成份。

    区别在于简洁性上吧，考试中一般优先使用doing 结构。

    简洁，我觉得大家这点说得不错，而且很有道理，但是不管是白勇的书还是XDF老师都说过，在原句中表示程度的词不可以随意被替换掉。例如：only,the only ,most等。

    ls的，新东方老师还说个，五个选项有个四个有，一个没有，那个肯定是错的。 你看only只有A 有，A不就排除了。不能这么想

     他们说的这些细节方面得有不能造成歧义的前提，A中which,明显会带来歧义。

    答案是D，请问A有什么地方不好？

    按照坛子里一个关于which的超长贴的讨论结果来看，此题的which的修饰对象都为独立结构，所以which所修饰的都是独立结构的宾语的中心词a minority；而答案d，作为分词amounting修饰的主语non-Hispanic Whites结合划线部分的后半段数量方面的表述，肯定更精确的是特指***Whites，而不是虚指的a minority。

    也有从简洁性的要点来考量。个人见解。

    amounting 对应的应该是whites因为是数量上的比较！而不是一个集合的概念

    我的理解是, A中的which让人迷惑究竟是指这个特殊的种族占state人口的less than a half, 还是指所有minority加起来占这个比例
