hello, 我也刚复习不久，同意你的观点，并与你讨论一下： 1：同意楼上观点，逗号应该在引号外部，即“life-as-spectacle”， 2：“life-as-spectacle"在这里是表语，这句话可以简化为Its subject is "life-as-spectacle" 3:diverted by its various incidents 是插入语，如果这里不是插入语而是谓语动词与后面的observe并列的话则逗号后面需要连接词and，同时diverted与observe时态不同，因此很明显diverted是作为分词修饰前面的readers。
