你的理解有一定的道理，但是这就是ETS的狡猾之处。

D的since从句里没有谓语.

1.如果E是正确答案,怎么将前两个也可能导致河床露出来的运动和河床并列呢?逻辑意思不对呀?

如果D是答案,这一点就没问题了, 可是SINCE从句没了谓语

1. E 表达的就是 “根据文章的意思,应是erosion, prehistoric glacier movement, and volcanic activity 三个动作导致把古老的,含金的河床抛到表面,”

2. D. 简化句子结构 Perspecting for gold was a easy task since erosion, movement and activity。

since 之后是3个名词而不是完整的原因从句，所以 D 不对。

我觉得E一点也不勉强。

句子结构是

since [erosion], [prehistoric glacier movement], and [ancient, gold-bearing riverbeds thrust to the surface by volcanic activity] put gold literally within reach of

三个[ ]部分并列；其中第三个原因，动词thrust的过去分词也是thrust，thrust by... 部分是Modifier，修饰riverbed
