Sorry I am in school now and I am not able to type in Chinese.
I want to aks lesliejy, insead and other friends about the chance for me to get in a PHD-Finance of a top school.
I got an B.Econ. in International Finance in a top school in China, GPA 3.1.
Then I obtained an MS in a U. of a State, GPA 3.5, one journal publication, one conference publication. Then I worked in the financial services industry for a year.
Now I am pursuing an MBA in a state U., full-time, 4 semesters. GPA 4.0 and I will be an honor graduate in Dec.
I just took the GMAT not long ago, 710 (M 49, V37). I know my math is very low, it might negatively affecting my application. Anyway, I am thinking about for a Ph.D for a long time although I just started make the move because I am 31, age is my biggest concern. At this point, I have no resource about the rankings except for the top 3 and I have no idea about the application difficulties. Would someone give me some help?
I really appreciate it.
