答案是C，我选的B，没大看懂解释，说“调换了changes 和population 中性词的位置使得of more than 250 bird……错误的修饰了changes,而不是population”，求解changes in population 和population changes在这里真的很大区别吗？？
然后C选项删了as many as , or 也是可以的吗？？

但是只有BC在固定搭配的选择范围内，且B有明显的错误——少了as,所以这时候不管C对不对，你也挑不出它有不可原谅的错误了呀~删除原文的一部分比其他选项的用错了固定搭配和少了as的错误还是小很多的吧

首先是，通过use sth to do——保留BC，
然后，B选项中population changes明显是将population作为名词修饰语修饰changes，使得of more than 250 bird species错误的修饰了changes而不是population，同时as many结构不完整,应改为of as many as or more than。。。怎么也不能够选到B去啊。。。

我还是觉得这里PREP笔记说的不太好
不能作为SPLIT。。最多也就是有点模糊
像OG那题55percent increase

嘿嘿。。抓住D哥啦。。嘻嘻。。那个那个。。。昨天有个问题来着：在做比较的时候，两个元素需不需要agree in number?
曼哈顿第147页： They worked AS a sketch artist.（ OA:wrong, need to agree in number.）
而在第136页的第五题：
right: Law students learn to think as a lawyer does.
right: Law students learn to think like a lawyer.
这个貌似不是考点，不过确实是有些奇怪。。。。。

我看manhattan都没看出这个问题...好吧as那里我的确看的比较随意
看到wrong和right的example就是多了个动词 does，让我想起了OG上的一个例子

Authoritative parents are more likely than permissive parents to have children who as adolescents are self-confident, high in self-esteem, and responsibly independent.
我记得错误的选项有个貌似就犯了很manhattan一样的错误
感觉这里区分单复数用meaning来解决
后者是表示的一种方式：即为：一群学生应该用律师的思维方式来思考问题（强调的是一种方式，即manner）
前者表示的是两种群体的相似性：一群学生像一群艺术家一样工作着（如果说一群学生像一个艺术家工作着明显不太符合逻辑，除非那个艺术家有多重灵魂）
不知道我有没有说清楚
事实上as直接加的名词就不是表示比较：
In any of these prepositional senses, As does not mean "similar to."
Right: I will jump up LIKE a clown. (= in a clownishmanner)
Right: I will jump up AS a clown. (= in a clown suit!!)
这个例子应该能帮助理解为什么前者需要agree in number
