The use of lie detectors is based on the assumption that lying produces emotional reactions in an individual that, in turn, create unconscious physiological responses. 这里面reactions in an individual 是表达一个整体，不能分开，如果分开的话，句意就显得断开了。这个时候只能选择跳跃修饰来完成。所以create 只能是修饰reactions，不是修饰individual。不知道我说的清楚否~~~
