大方面来说，选项E是最合理的，但是想请教一下，为什么the results后面可以省略be？

有点困惑中。

省略，因为助动词相同，MM可以自己总结一下，或者找本语法书看看有关省略的规则

可是记得，助动词相同可省略一般限于主语相同的情况呀。。。

难道是记错了？？

例：　I am a student and he a teacher.

系动词可以省，实意动词用do, did,......代替
