标题: HBS Essay #4: How do you define success?

Not very sure of this essay. Should one write an detached essay discussion abstractly, and with examples of others, that how one defines success? Or should one write the essay, with first person-examples, of how one defines success and how this belief is reflected and practiced in his own personal / professional life?

how do YOU define success. the essence of all the essays is about YOU. so try your best to demontrate principles, values, ideas about yourself, with best your own examples.

Perhaps it's condusive to ask your friends what are their perspective of success. Other's definition of success may render you some beneficial ideas.

An eternal rule for MBA application: explain and elaborate with a case. Find a good story where how you handled the situation reflected your values about success.
