Capuchin monkeys often rub their bodies with a certain type of millipede.  Laboratory tests show that secretions from the bodies of these millipedes are rich in two chemicals that are potent mosquito repellents, and mosquitoes carry parasites that debilitate capuchins.  Some scientists hypothesize that the monkeys rub their bodies with the millipedes because doing so helps protect them from mosquitoes.

Fact:一种猴子经常用某种动物来摩擦身体。

Evidence：这些动物尸体的分泌物富含两种有效驱逐蚊子的化学物质；而蚊子带有使猴子致病的寄生虫。

Conclusion：科学家猜测猴子拿这些动物来摩擦使为了使它们自己远离蚊子。

找个答案支持科学家假设的，即猴子们这么做就是为了赶蚊子用的。ABE无关，D也无关，吃不吃这些动物跟科学家的推测没有关系。C说只有雨季的时候猴子们才那么干，而雨季时蚊子是最多的，从而support the hypothesis。

D：如果选这个，需要一个假设：不吃是为了用来rub身体

E：无关，这两种化学物质对人是致癌的，可以用来支持人为什么不用这种物质

偶觉得：

support题目 可以通过支持原因来支持结论 本题的原因这里明确给出是because doing so helps protect them from mosquitoes

C说的内容: the capuchins are most likely to rub their bodies with millipede to protect themself from mosquitoes especially in rainy days in which the mosquitoes' population is at the peak  C就是支持题干中原因的 说明了millipede可以用来驱赶蚊子

题目变一变 D可以做一个很好的assumption题目答案

D: whehter millipede will be ate by the C monkeys has no relation with the conclusion that the usage of millipede by  C monkeys to prevent the mosquito is right or wrong.

C, which is a turth expressed in an exceptional way, does strengthen this topic.

注意看完整了，非雨季才 rarely rub，因为雨季蚊子多。刚好补充了桥梁
