还有，这里的as seen如何理解

The tree grows at a rate of 10 cm in diameter per year.
"10 cm in diameter per year" is the rate at which the tree grows.

2. Regarding "as seen"... The rate at which trees grow can be seen from the rings.
You have made a huge progress on your GMAT study, as seen from your substantially rising scores in prep tests.

as 指代前面那段话？？？

不好意思，这个语法上属于什么成分，我不知道....听听其他同学意见吧
我只知道 "bla bla bla, as seen ...." 这种表达很常见

可以这么理解：
1. as seen ... 是修饰语，按原则需要紧跟在所修饰的对象最近处。意思是“rate可以在树干的交接位置中看出来”。排除C
2. On earth, 放在最前加逗号，状语修饰整个句子，也就暗含“其它星球可能是其它模样”——原句没有这个意思；如果放在among... 之后则是修饰surest indications，“地球上最。。。的”。排除A/B
3. D中逗号加believed to be不是完整的谓语结构，没有构成句子。
另外，至于among ... is A 是is/are结构的倒装，当is/are前后没有的主语可以判断是倒装，尤其是... is believed to be ...是市面上可以见到的

as seen.........这里是as 引导的非限定性定语从句
