我去查了下朗曼。Estimate的用法有下面的：（1）be estimated to be/have/cost etc

The tree is estimated to be at least 700 years old.

（2）estimate something at something Organizers estimated the crowd at 50,000.

（3）estimate that Scientists estimate that smoking reduces life expectancy by around 12 years on average.

（4）estimate how many/what etc It is not easy to estimate how many people have the disease.

—estimated adjective: heroin with an estimated street value of £50,000

—estimator noun [countable]

哪里ungrammatical了啊？不是可以跟clause的么？PS：E选项中what was 有啥问题？

fragments是复数，所以c,e用provides 都错。

e 选项的谓语动词是单数，而主语是复数，这是硬伤。排出法，还剩下a 和 d . a 意思不对吧。

estimate + N + at + 价格等数量词（估价）（除此概念以外优先用estimated to be表达）
如：40 to 44 million years是时间概念，要用estimated to be 40 to 44 million years old.

表示某个历史时间的搭配：
estimated to be OG12 #27
dated at OG12 #140
不能混淆。GMAT对此要求得很死。

不过以下出现在正确句子中，所以是acceptable的：
"estimated at minus 230 degrees Farenheit"

estimate的固定用法：
estimate (that) （不需加原V）
estimate + N + to be N(adj)
estimate + N + at + 价格等数量词（估价）（除此概念以外优先用estimated to be表达）
如：40 to 44 million years是时间概念，要用estimated to be 40 to 44 million years old.

unearthed不是可以是过去分词做后置定语修饰a primate jawbone吗？为什么一定要还原that is 呢？

紫色部分是从句的主干，主谓宾，所以provide要用原型，是复数形式。
unearthed in burma and estimated.... 做后置定语，平行修饰fragments of a primate jawbone。后置定语可以算是定语从句的简洁形式。这里要不就全部补全变成 that is unearthed in Burma and that is estimated...，要不就两个that be就都省略，变成后置定语的平行。

而C中， that it is 40 to 44 million years old provides evidence of what was中的that it is破坏了平行，所以ungrammatical
