标题: 请教各位关于指代 OG 107 & 113
想请教各位NN关于指代的问题：

OG # 107题

Originally developed for detecting air pollutants, a
technique called proton-induced X-ray emission,which
can quickly analyze the chemical elements in almost
any substance without destroying it, is finding uses in
medicine, archaeology, and criminology.

其中的which用作修饰先行词 technique，为什么在这里不认为是修饰X ray emission呢？

OG #113题

Because the new maritime code provides that
even tiny islets can be the basis for claims to the
fi sheries and oil fi elds of large sea areas,ithas
already stimulated international
disputes over uninhabited islands.

这句中，OG说it指代的是主语 new martime code，但是之前有 the basis在，为什么没有发生it的指代不清？按照之前的题目，it 和 new martime code相距甚远，一般会发生模糊指代。

在这样情况下，该如何判断？谢谢

if you didnt seperate the "X-ray" and the "emission", what made you seperate "proton-include" and "X-ray emission"?

英语有个很重要的概念就是意群，就好像作为一个美国人，他未必了解我说我吃的那个东西叫苹果里面苹果是什么意思，但是他可以猜到“叫”后面那两个他不认识的字是个整体。

不知道这样解释是否清楚

我没在国内好好学语法，所以这个解释不知道是不是符合语法规则：
it通常应该只能指代主谓宾中的核心成分，怎么也不会指代到前半句的从句里面的一个小词，对么？

因为毕竟一个大大的逗号在那里，让整个因果句前句中心内容和后句中心内容构成一个balance的关系呀。

我个人不成熟的想法：
这个句子首先要弄明白because...,it...的从句+主句的结构
而是在前面的从句里又出现了一个宾语从句

所以你可以忽略宾语从句

所以比较清楚的知道，这个it指代的就是大从句和主句中的共同”真正“主语 code
