1、If n is a positive integer and n^2 is divisible by 72 ,then the largest positive integer that must divide n is? 没太理解题意给的答案是B
A 6 B 12 C 24 D36 E48

2、A square countertop has asquare tile inlay in the center, leaving an untiled strip of uniform width around the tile. If the radio of the tiled area to the untiled area is 25 to 39 ,which of the following could be the width,in inches,of the strip?没算出来（1）和（3）给的答案是E

(2)3
(3)4
A (1)only B(2)only C(1)and(2)only D(1)and(3)only E(1),(2)and(3)

3、Together ,Andrea and Brian weigh p pounds; Brian weighs 10 pounds more than Andrea. Brian and Andrea's dog,Cubby,weighs p/4 pounds more than Andrea. In terms of p. What's Cubby's weight in pounds?怎么也没算出正确答案B，我觉得有句话是错的，Brian and Andrea's dog改为Andrea's dog，就是B了
A p/2-10 B 3p/4-5 C 3p/2-5 D 5p/4-10 E 5p-5

4、Jolene began building a picket fence by planting stakes in a row; the stakes were evenly spaced. After planting the first 10 stakes, Jolene measured the length of the row and found that the row was 27 feet long. Fourth:前10个桩长27feet，10个桩产生9个空隙，所以平均每个空隙27/9=3feet。那么一共20个桩，就有19个空隙，于是总长度就是19*3=57feet

1.n^2被72整除，肯定是72的倍数，72不能开方成整数，最小也要是72*2=144，开方就是12，可整除的最大整数因子就是本身，所以是n=12
2.我算出来觉得应该是介于1到3之间都可以，4不知道怎么来的，个人觉得选D，求高手指教
根号25=5，根号(25+39)=8, 8-5=3,在3之间都可以？？
第三题同意楼主，去掉条件里的B和C的B才能算出B答案~

1.n^2被72整除，肯定是72的倍数，72不能开方成整数，最小也要是72*2=144，开方就是12，可整除的最大整数因子就是本身，所以是n=12
2.我算出来觉得应该是介于1到3之间都可以，4不知道怎么来的，个人觉得选D，求高手指教

第一题的C不也可以吗？最大的n，72*8，开方等于24哇。没明白

第二题如图，小正方形边长为x，untiled width为w，则countertop边长为（x+2w），大小正方形面积比25：（25+39），得出等式
x：（x+2w）=25：（25+39），解出x=10w/3，把(1)(2)(3)带入，都能解出相应的x的值。
不知道这样的解答可以吗？

想了半天终于明白了，我理解你的意思了，谢谢你的解答。不过有点好像打错了，如果n=24的话，就不能被12整除了。

n有多种选择，可能是12. 而答案必须满足n的所有可能性

第二题他给的是比例，所以按照比例放大缩小，所以E
