Q28:

Wind farms, which generate electricity using arrays of thousands of wind-powered turbines, require vast expanses of open land. County X and County Y have similar terrain, but the population density of County X is significantly higher than that of County Y. Therefore, a wind farm proposed for one of the two counties should be built in County Y rather than in County X.

Which of the following, if true, most seriously weakens the planner’s argument?

County X and County Y are adjacent to each other, and both are located in the windiest area of the state.

上述两句我觉得B和E能推出同样的结论，请教。

b的意思是y的人口比x多，这个和文章给定的内容不符，e的意思是x的人口（虽然多于y）都集中在很小的地方，所以空地可能很多。

根据上面的那个简单公式，X、Y两地领土相同，Y的人口数量大于X的人口数量。正常情况下，Y的人口密度应该同样大于X。但是Y的人口密度反而小于X的人口密度，这说明X的人口分布存在异常，也可以推出类似E的内容。

当然，E是更完美的选项，我做的时候也选的是E，但是我现在的问题是拿不出足够的理由排除B，请指出我的逻辑错误，谢谢。

你没有仔细看文章哦，文章已经说明，x的人口密度大于y，在面积相似的情形下，我们可以得出x的人口多于y

terrain，这里是什么意思，应该是指地形吧！有没有面积的意识？

我看到b就选了，因为当时认为similar terrain就是面积什么都一样，

现在看来应该是指地形，否则b说Y人多，那么地形又一样不是density就高了吗？

现在看来e是对的，原文说要大片土地，x density大---〉在y建wind farms

e说x的人口density虽然大，但都集中small part of the country,这个weaken即是他因（concentration)削弱，又是断桥( density 于open land的多少无关）削弱。

density 高，不代表就没有vast空地。这里选项B偷换了概念。

我认为B是支持了

如果Y的人口多，而X的密度大，只能推出来
Y的面积比X的要大
那么，就应该在Y安装而不是在X。所以支持。

首先，原文根本没有提及面积；有的仅仅是地形相似，X人口密度大于Y。

A：排出他因削弱，加强

B：Y人口巨大，人口密度又很小，说明大广人稀，正好风力发电，支持

C：would be purchased by users outside the county,无关，讨论的不是发电以后卖给谁

D：than does any other type of electrical-generation facility，错误比较

E：X人口集中，可以给发电提供空间，削弱

此题如果将B选项改一下，变成The total population of laceType w:st="on">CountylaceType> X is substantially greater than that of laceType w:st="on">CountylaceType> Y对不对呢？

好象还是不可以. 有两种可能. 地广和E一样. 地不广. 密度大.这样就可以削弱.

X 的人都在一个旮旯里，所以留下大片土地，正好符合require vast expanses of open land

Y 分布的均匀的，

算错了.D=P/T. T是定数.-->D与P正函数关系.题中告诉我们Dx>Dy,所以是Px>y.而非Y的人口多

关于E选项，几乎所有的X的人都聚集在X很小的一个部分生活，而在Y，大家都是四散居住的。那怎么可能是X的密度大于Y。

我觉得也不对，如果说X有5个人，都挤在厕所里生活，而Y也有5个人，但是分布在地区的东南西北中。因为X密度是大于Y人口密度的，假设Y的地区面积是X的100倍，那么这东西架设在Y也没错呀。

B选项可以做相同的假设，就是把Y的人换成6个。结论也是东西假设在Y更好。

所以我觉得B,E是一样不足以推翻题目中的结论（人口密度大，空地少）

你说：用风发电需要地方大，X，Y地儿一样大，但是X人扎堆，所以要在Y建风车。我说：扯淡，X扎堆在一个地儿，其他地方毛人都找不到更适合建风车，Y哪哪的有点人。／（B）扯淡，Y比X人多（你会说，多咋地，我就是有的地方没人空地适合建风车）
