20. Abolish taxes, and real taxpayers would find that their disposable incomes have increased. Abolish taxes, and public employees would find that their incomes have disappeared.
Which one of the following is a logical conclusion that depends on information in both of the statements above?
(A) Public offices should be abolished so that disposable incomes will rise.
(B) The only real taxpayers are those who would have more to spend if they did not pay taxes.
(C) Public employees are not real taxpayers.
(D) Public employees’ incomes should not be taxed since they come from taxes.
(E) If there were no taxes, then public employees could not be paid.
Answer: C 我知道对。。可是我觉得E好象也对。

因为，Abolish taxes, and public employees would find that their incomes have disappeared.
abolish taxes= no taxes, disppeared= could not be paid

这题我也错了，想了一下，即使没有tax，但public employee也会从政府拿工资，因此不可能没钱，所以不对。

disappeared.和could not be paid是两个不同概念，文中并没有限制其他可以给public employee发工资的方式。

答案e只是premise的同义重复，并不是conclusion啊

嗯，“BOTH”很有道理

个人认为，and应该是标识并列的连词，不能有A->B推出。所以选项中有 if, so that表推出逻辑关系的都不对。C答案没有推出关系，只是对比了一下两句话，得出了一个结论说public employee are not real tax payer,因为同一个人的不可能因为同一个Tax政策收入又层加，又减少。：）

This question is more like an assumption. The basic point is to separate two group for jatapose.
