126. More than thirty years ago Dr. Barbara McClintock, the Nobel Prize winner, reported that genes can “jump,” as pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another.

(A) as pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another

(B) like pearls moving mysteriously from one necklace to another

(D) like pearls do that move mysteriously from one necklace to others（B）

(E) as do pearls that move mysteriously from one necklace to some other one

OG对于选项C，只说do表实际现象不好

没说其中的do that 不对，这里的that怎么理解？

呵呵，大家忙得很，我又不好删除，自己也想通了点

C中that引导的是定语从句，修饰前面的pearls,显然不够紧凑

我觉得用that引导的定语从句没有问题，问题就在于do不能用来表示‘想....一样’假设的含义。当然了that从句也确实没有分词来的间接。

that引导的是同位语从句吧我觉得。
筛选条件1： Idiom: one ..... another......
筛选条件2: 比较结构： A can do......, like B
A can do......, as B can
