这些词是单复同形的吗

还是说如果复数，必须用Russians, Frenches

the French [plural] people from France

Russian1[countable] someone from Russia
2[uncountable] the language used in Russia

French一般是指复数，跟一道机经题里的the Shang是一样的。

Russian指人应是可数，故我认为单独用是有问题的。最近有道机经提到了个by Russian, 我看到另一个版本是by the Soviet government, 原先的可能记错了。

如果是government B 的指代就没有问题了。 A 的in attempting to 实在很别扭，

B是RUSSIAN也没问题这种用法很多 RUSSIAN用作单数

attempt作分词用词典里查不到(只有进行时态）；It指代Russian词典里也没查到！
