问题:答案是E,但是应用GMAT公理不是应该C优先于E吗?

    操作本題，先得確定 AB不選，接下來D太囉嗦，就只有CE選一個

    我不曉得gmat900所謂的OG鐵律為何，但你看when to be able....以基本語法來說，單是這點就可以排除掉，when之後找不到主詞呀....

    这道题用排除法选了答案E，但是感觉E中的逻辑不大通：

    显亮的那一部分总是感觉逻辑搭配不是很合理。

    显亮的那一部分总是感觉逻辑搭配不是很合理。



    same feeling. usually ETS would say "ability" cannot create a new class ..blah blahblah...

    这里只有C,E可选，把C带入的话：

    这里的has就没有相应的主语对应。而E里面的the ability正好做has的主语。

    而且这里的it可以跳过”;”去代替coyote吗?

    to do sth是可以做主语的，但是要to do sth is to do sth.

    但是如果 to be able to做主语的话,主语和动词搭配就不恰当了......况且好像 to do sth is to to sth


    只有这个搭配了...NN出来说句啊

    When where why 在英文语法解释中为关系连词  所以后边必须接一句完整的话。。所以c不是 因为没有主语 只能选e

    to do sth是可以做主语的，但是要to do sth is to do sth.

    不是nn，但是莎翁的名句就可以推翻这个理解：To be, or not to be, that is the question.
    还有To speak English well is an advantage.

    An infinitive 做subject，需要搭配linking verbs，但是不一定都是Infinitive + linking verb + Infinitive这个结构。
    C错在to be able to do X has created ...这个搭配，create是一个physical verb，主语应该是个human or animal这类，不能是infinitive。
    D错在being a supreme adapter以及its ability没有the ability来得准确。establish X as Y, itself 应该对应一个noun，不能是being...
    其次，its ability说的是coyote's ability，这个句子没有特指coyote's ability，而是in general说了某种能力。
