B是正确答案，但我选A，与原文一样。“or about $72" 不是改变了句子的原意了吗

1. A的句子意思明显有问题, 不能用amounting to. 因为意思是"降低了"而非"降低到"--任何车型都不会便宜到$72.

2. 第二题楼主是不是打错了? 怎么有2个谓语?

3. ten times后可以直接接比较对象的. 当然也可以说ten times more than. 但这里没有"more", 自然也就不用"than"

4. 首先, not...but...是平行结构. but后面再用they比较awkward. 其次, due to用在这里不合适, 因为严格来说due to是caused by的意思. 如句子中的due to不能用caused by来替换, 则不能用due to.
