标题: og语法28题请教了
Building on civilizations that preceded them in coastal
Peru, the Mochica developed their own elaborate
society, based on the cultivation of such crops as corn
and beans, the harvesting of fi sh and seafood,
and the exploitation of other wild and domestic resources.
请问这个based 是不是表示和主要Mochica是被动关系，那用basing对吗？？

based 是修饰society的。。。。过去分词和现在分词用法差别比较大，不仅仅是主被动的关系。过去分词一般就近修饰n而现在分词优先做状语，然后才是做定语。
