答案是B, 但我选A, 关键问题是到底是wasps consist of females 还是society consists of females. 另一疑惑是 almost entirely of 和almost all of 有什么区别?

我认为应该是consist of ....是修饰society的；almost entirely 和almost all of 的区别：entirely是副词应该修饰动词consist，“几乎全部由雌蜂组成”，而all of 修饰名词female，“几乎由所有的雌蜂组成”。。。

我也同意AB選一個，我覺得選B不選A的關鍵應該不是你講的那兩個"關鍵"，仔細比較這兩個選項

A.wasps living in a highly cooperative and organized society where they consist almost entirely of

B.wasps that live in a highly cooperative and organized society consisting almost entirely of

我們發現A是在wasps that live 改成了wasps living, 但後面則維持where they consist; B選項則是維持wasps that live ，但後半段則是簡化為consisting....

請教有何差異

In A "where" is wrong it should be changed to "in which" at least. Be is briefer.

A错误原因：where指代地方，这里应该用which

B：consisting修饰前面的整个句子

偶的答案是A 偶也选的A

根据原句的意思:they consist almost entirely of

这里的they代wasps 指的是wasps consist of females

where 应该是in which,即in the society的意思,但比in which 简洁

觉得B 中that live 不如living简洁,而且后面的consisting到底是就近修饰society还是修饰逻辑主语wasps也不太清楚,即便这里consisting只能就近修饰,也改变了原句意思

consisting alomost of females 作后置定语修饰society，wasps不可能全由female组成，逻辑不通。

besides, the that+clause structure is better to modify waps than the v+ing
