个人觉得有两个问题 一个是E选项的 which sought in the early eighteenth century，“在十八世纪寻找XX的国家”稍微有点改动了原句的含义，原句的early eighteenth century直接限定了国家是“十八世纪的欧洲国家”。
另外，原句划线只划到了so too，也就是说如果把E选项放上去，就变成了 Similar to xxx are we,在语法上是有问题的作者: 超级无敌萍 时间: 2012-1-28 22:10

just as....so 是固定搭配，表示动作的相似性。 E没有主句。明显是错的。要改的话加个逗号然后we are作者: 鱼winwin 时间: 2012-1-29 15:21
similar to不能用在句首
