语法弱弱，prep一题求解

网上有说因为proved所以排除两个带will的选项，但是想请问下是因为prove本身不可以接将来时还是说prove这个词用了过去式，所以后面will要用的话改would，如果因为过去式的话，为什么exhibit又没用过去式呢？
另外，其他还有什么选出正确答案的判断细节？

从句意而言，即使是prove，也不能用will，因为这是data，是一个调查得到的事实，用一般现在时即可；之所以exhibit不是过去式，也是因为这是调查得到的事实，或者说是黑猩猩的习惯，都应该用一般现在时~

话说我是从are 和 can be那里区分的，感觉can be更像陈述一个结论事实。。。

同求解by which 和where？

Manhattan SC上面讲过, where只能指表具体地点。
而抽象的“地点”——例如situation/circumstances/instances/...这些只能用preposition (in/of/...看情况）+ which。这道题"curiosity"肯定不能用where，必须用by which

另外，这里需要用one another，根据句意。（我是用时态+one another来排除锁定答案的）
否则that从句里面就是"Ch（大猩猩） ..... others"，似乎others是和大猩猩独立的。
Analagy:
Some people believe that.... Others hold that ....
用"others"肯定就是对立于前面的名词

我个人觉得，can be和are都可以，意思有点区别
are passed by 就是陈述事实
can be passed by 强调能够
带进原句应该都可以。欢迎讨论

MM正解！找到了= =。。。The pronoun where can be used to modify a noun place, such as area, site, country or Nevada. Where cannot modify a “metaphorical” place, such as condition, situation, case, circumstances, or arrangement. In this case, use in which rather than where.
