正确答案选B，可是，it难道没有指代不清么？前面有三个单数名词，而且were it to do so，说的这么含糊，也没法推断到底指代哪个呀？

这点跟og的解释有点不同，详细参考prep07语法笔记好像第2题解释就是这个知识点。在it就近指代是正确的时候，尽管前面有很多单数名词，也不算是指代不清。这里it指代 polar ice，没问题。

是不是用代词排除选项很不靠谱呀？貌似有很多解释的版本，我经常被坑

也不能这样说，毕竟代词错误还是经常考的，关于解释版本以prep的为准吧，og在代词上解释的有点问题

It并没有指代不明呀，因为离it最近的就是polar ice,而且合乎逻辑。ACD选项没有说"如果。。否则。。”，只是说“否则”，什么引起了“否则”都没有说清楚，而B就很清楚，were it to do so=If it(the polar ice) were to do so(to melt),...E选项if it did,是对现在时的虚拟语气，也不对，因为现在确实没有发生，原句要表达的是未来不太可能发生的事，所以用to be的虚拟语气。

邻家现在就做GWD啊，我打算留到最后模考的时候再做。。现在连PREP都不敢做。现在就把OG和MANHATTAN过了一遍。今天再复习一遍OG。。

因为我2月就要考了，GWD刚刚开始，今天做到第三套了
