曼哈顿SC P180 有个“(d) Many places are called Naples——the cities in Italy and in Florida, and also a town in Clark
County, South Dakota (population 25). (... and also... ) WRONG” 这句为什么是错的啊？感谢

不好意思，昨天忙忙叨叨没仔细看到LZ的题目就给童鞋发了个链接。。。
关于这类的redundant，prep有挺多的讲解，类似的还有may与possible同样赘余重复。。等等

and also用在列举中多余，用在both ... and also中多余，其他情况下不一定多余，加上also表示承接、强调。

我感觉这个句子有歧义：，and also 是和谁并列呢？
一：和city 并列 also多余，直接and就好。
二：也可以和Naples并列，这时候also修饰called 其实also是adv，本就应该修饰verb。所以这就加剧了第二种歧义的可能性。

also 在这里多余，对对。我做过的题不多，遇到 and also 都是错误选项，但是看这些链接中的前辈们说还有其他情况，就迷茫了，想这次趁这个机会把这个知识点吃透。。。
