Just today my brother was telling some friends that 80% of my scars (i have a lot) were ones he gave me, its surprising how many scars can be given by the ones you cherish the most. A big part of the other 20% were from an operation I had here in China, him mentioning that reminded me about the hospital experience. When I went into the operation room and laid on the bed a guy had to stab me like three times in my spinal cord to temporarily paralyze my bottom half so that I didn't feel anything. Funny thing is the guy kept on telling me, "relax, this is going to hurt a lot" and it did! I still have nightmares of that pain. Apparently he didn't even do it correctly because after the operation I couldn't feel my toes at all but I could feel the area that was operated on. They also had quite a bit of difficulty getting me to sleep they kept on having to higher the dose of sleeping medicines. The creepy part was before i fell asleep i could see were they were cutting me open, it was a little gross. After the operation the pain killer machine was broken and nobody noticed till the main pain of the operation was over after two days, its funny now but wasn't very funny then... They let me leave the third day.
All in all the people at the hospital were very nice to me and gave so many discounts, I think in the end we paid a total of 3000rmb (it would have been 10,000 USD in the US). Special Thanks to all the nice people in that hospital
