答案是A。刘振明的书解释说A中省略了trying，连这个都省，那么省与不省的标准到底是什么？选D的话是哪里不对呢？

哈哈，说得好，但是，如果我们再省掉to的话，句子是否会有歧义呢？省略的原则是：可以省到不能省为止，但是要表达出意思但又不能造成歧义。这个句子的to暗示了平行结构，所以，trying省略后，句子的结构不会造成歧义。当然，需要指出的是，尽量省不意味着一定要省，不省也不一定错。做题时会发现ETS的有些题目答案也没有达到精简的效果。

D的错误在于原句要表达的是动作与动作的比较

而D表达的是动作与人的比较比较不对等

这题我明白了，可是下次再遇到同样的问题，我怎么才能发现是经过了省略呢？是不是比较词前后有同样的词就有省的可能？

C选项的错误是用了like？
