Seldom more than 40 feet wide or 12 feet deep but running 363 miles across the rugged wilderness of upstate New York, the Erie Canal connected C. The Erie Canal, seldom more than 40 feet wide and 12 feet deep, but running 363 miles across the rugged wilderness of upstate New York, connecting 答案B A跟B比较,有哪里不对呢?B中more than 40 feet wide or 12 feet deep ,为什么中间用or连接呢? 干嘛用or?
我觉得用or的意思是有的地方40feet宽,有的地方12feet深,但改成and会有歧义是同时40 feet wide and 12 feet deep 。
但是对于d选项,OG说:the paired concepts of width and depth should be joined by "and", not "or".

Seldom more than 40 feet wide or 12 feet deep but running 363 miles across the rugged wilderness of upstate New York
