这个是答案，但我不明白后面小括号里的the chemical irritant.老师说是做 enzymes 的同位语，但我不明白为什么是做同位语，我觉得the chemical irritant 很奇怪，请高手帮我分析一下，或告诉我这句话到底应该怎么翻译，非常感谢！

二恶英存在于任何动物体内的几乎所有的组织中，包括器官为代谢或中和化学刺激物而分泌出的酶。

二恶英存在于任何动物体内的几乎所有的组织中，包括器官为代谢或中和化学刺激物而分泌出的酶。

Or render harmless是插入语吗？还是与metabolize平行？

是dioxin metabolize the chemical irritant.还是enzymes attempt to metabolize the chemical? 那个that are the organism's attempt to metabolize 不是修饰enzymes的吗。再说清楚一点，谢谢啊。

irritant如果是metabolize的宾语的话这也太蛋疼了啊！or render harmless放在中间不是很awkward么？
