我觉得在不产生歧义的情况下，好像so……as to优先于so……that。这道题选a没有歧义，talented 和comprise 的主语都是players。

偶还是觉得选B。因为ever before时间状语决定只能是到现在为止了，以后它是不是the greatest team就不得而知了。
而OG88指的是一个客观现象，不会因时间而改变。
they 指players 没有歧义，因为文中在they之前再没有第二个复数名词了。

我也查了词典中的讲解
comprise:
1.if u say that something comprises or is comprised of a number of things or people,u mean it has them as its parts or members.
2.The things or people that comprise something are the parts or members that form it.
women comprise 44% of hospital medical staff.
从此点来看是可以理解players comprised the greatest team.
但是这里以用现在完成时还是有问题，前面的was，说明是过去时间，后面又用到现在完成时have...现在时间，而且没有明显的时间暗示状语。
另外ever before并不一定要和现在完成时连用：
Japan is wealthier and more powerful than ever before.
这题跟og88比最大的差别就是多了个ever before。我认为ever before是修饰the greatest team。查了一下, ever before可以修饰名词，如：This Super Mario like Game is unlike anything ever before in a no-holds-barred adventure. 这种例子不多，更多的是名词+ever。
另外ever before放在句尾作状语比较少见，多见的是have/has ever done before,其次是have/has ever before done.

偶终于明白了：ever before 本身是可以用一般时态的，但是加了than之后就不同了。偶以前一直没有搞清楚这两个概念。现在偶确定选A!

我是这样理解的an assemblage of players so talented，这里telented形容词修饰players，还原an assemblage of players (who are)so talented, 如果要使talented 指向assemblage, 则应为an assemblage of players that is so talented, 其中that is 一般不能省。N1 of N2+done，done作为过去分词可以认为修饰N1 ，不过此情况下N2和done一般没有合理的逻辑联系，否则有点修饰不清了。
这点完全同意jnlvo的表述；搭配要考虑逻辑上的合理性，明明不合理的逻辑搭配是不会被考虑搭配产生歧义的，就像代词指代是按逻辑指代一样，还有一道动词并列的题，前面大N们讨论过的，这题的A中players comprise the greatest team是唯一合理的逻辑搭配，在此不会产生其他搭配上的歧义。
觉得还是A对。
同意jnlvo，句子省略部分还原后变成了an assemblage of players (who are)so talented as to comprise....正因为这样，comprise的逻辑主语应该是players, 没有什么歧义。
倒是B的时态明显有错，因为主句是过去范围内的时态。特别是如果了解梦之队的话，大家就知道，梦之队只是奥运的时候临时组合的，不可能一直存在到现在，也就不应该用现在完成时。

看了很多SO...AS TO 以及SO ...THAT的例子，觉得SO...THAT一般用于表示明确的前后因果关系，B并非这种关系。
