og130：Bank depositors in US are all financially protected against bank failure because the government insures all individuals 's bank deposits.

问一下，这里的against是什么意思？那这个到底是protect还是不protect。。。

好像挺简单的，不过我还是有点糊涂。。。

请nn指导

补充一下，og130的后面又出现了一个against。。好像很常见啊。。。

since it removes from depositors any financial incentive to find out whether the bank that holds theri money is secure against failure .
