关系代词在定从中做定语通常是省略的（不省略为有效性错误，不是绝对性错误），但50题不省略that有两个原因：
1. many这个代词的出现比较突兀，加上that更明确地表明many作为从句主语，这个用法的话many就可以直接泛指很多人，而不用有所指代。所以有that更好。
2. 没有that会造成had feared和instead come in并列的歧义，结构上不好。

我查了many的词性只有代词和形容词。那这个Many就应该是代指Analysts，不能是泛指很多人吧？
