为什么B选项不用separate和required之间不用加and呢？不是并列的意思吗？

TOEFL语法：

几个形容词排成一列，依次修饰同一个名词，形容词间有明确的先后顺序，形容词间并不并列。

几个形容词由逗号连接，同时修饰同一个名词，形容词间无明确的先后顺序，形容词间并列。

即逗号可以并列连接形容词。

基本上required 和seperate 在比例上並非對等的，也就是說required 可能是30%，但seperate 則可能是70%

不見得兩者是一半一半，就不必是加上 and

副词和形容词的修饰重心是不同的。

seperate course, 形容词修饰名词，意思是单独的课程。

seperately required，副词修饰形容词，意思是单独要求的...

可否請教一個問題…在原句是only if .... a separately required course. 那(B)是用a separate, required course. 而(C)是用a course required separately. 如果說(C)是因為only沒在if之前的話，那(B)不是也改變了原句的句意(a separately required course.)了呢？

我也开始刚刚作这道题，我试着解释一下，从原来的句子的意义来看，要强调的是ethic需要单独选修，不要和其他商业课混在一起，因此需要用separate 去修饰course，选项A seperately required course 突出的是单独要求，seperately 修饰了是required，而不是突出修饰course。因此。B的选项更符合句子要表达的意思。不知道这样解释时候清楚，请NN们再指正

原句一开始说...should be integrated into every business course...。这个意思就是说要被集成到每一个课程里面，也就是分散到多个里面去。

而句首的while是表示转折的意思，因此后面的主句的意思应该是“把这个东东作为一个单独的，被要求的课程。

而A的意思是“把这个东东作为一个单独要求的课程”。和原句意思不符。

ETS在SC的开始就说了，除了要注意画线的部分，也要注意没有画线的部分。这题就是个例子。

再问一下，b中的would be taught有什么问题？看成虚拟语气的将来时不行吗？难道非得要用a will happen if b happens的时态模式？

楼上的TX，虚拟语气不是这样用的，请参看下面的例句：

If I were you, I would not do that.

按照你的说法，就会变成：If I would be you, I...

：）

我不同意~應該是~seperate, required course(沒加and),是指seperate跟required對course的修飾程度相同~若是seperate and required course(有加and)則表示sperate和required對course的修飾程度有所不同(不確定誰多誰少)~~~這是我補習班老師說的(在台灣)

我觉得谁多谁少都无所谓了，只要两种方法都对就可以。

只是我还是搞不清楚这个separately required和separate,required中为什么后者的表达方式比前者好

毕竟前者是选项A的意思，在正式考试中或许我会遵循最原始的意思吧

况且“单独要求的”和“单独的和要求的”在逻辑上看不出来谁对谁错吧？

我觉得yaoshuming忽视了没有滑线的句子，根据GMAT精神紧接着副词是修饰形容词的，这个在很多题目里面都有出现过，所以separately required的意思是不对的，是曲解了没有滑线的部分的愿意，而这个才是原始的意思。separately required不是很make sense啊，required的其实本来就是separte的了，这个再把它单独拿出来就是想强调和前面的对立关系。这个在读原文的时候，应该最先感觉不对。

我觉得没有必要搞那么清楚逗号和and之间那么微妙的关系，根据GMAT前面提到的，语法以通常公认为主，过于精细反而觉得有些教条了。

我的根据在前文：第一个说法要求把该课程integrate到其他课程中，第2个说法不同意，所以应该用integrate的相反词
separate的课程，形成前后呼应。

要分清楚是separate or separately，试想下面两种语境：

用separate and required

A说：商业伦理被整合到其他课程里就行了

B说：不行，商业伦理必须被设为一个单独的并且必修的课

用separately required

A说：商业伦理被整合到其他必修课程里就行了

B说：不行，商业伦理必须被设为一个单独的必修课

很明显，原文是第一种

但是有没有separate required这种用法呢，就是又没有逗号又没有and
